Neo Launch Trailer
Elgato is known for streaming and content-creation gear. With its new Neo product line, the brand is reaching out for the first time to a broader, less tech-savvy audience. For the launch, SMAL developed the visual language, the website, and the CGI renderings, animations and videos. The centerpiece was the product trailer.
On the trailer, my focus was retouching and editing the live-action footage, compositing the screen inserts and bringing it all together with CG elements. Much of this work is invisible to the viewer, and that’s how it should be: cables were removed, distracting details cleaned up, and some Stream Deck keys even got new graphics in post.
